What\'s the best alternator for the CUCV Blazer?

Looks like I need to replace my alternator.

Can anyone give me a recommendation on the best aftermarket alternator?

    Thanks
    Jeff

Theres nothing wrong with the ones that are in it they just get worn out. I would have them rebuilt for a fraction of the cost, they are 100 amp rated units to begin with. Mine tested out at about 115 when they were rebuilt. A good rebuild should only cost you around 40 dollars each.

    What he said.

Are you looking to ditch the 24V system? If you aren't, I think you have to have the stock "isolated" ground altenators. I've always had better luck with locally rebuilt altenators/starters. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
