i have a 1987 k5 and i just had a brake job and now when i drive with my passenger window open it sounds like there is something in my rim , its almost liek when you were a kid and u put a baseball card in the spokes, thats what it sounds like, any idead on what that can be, thanks
  2. I had that problem and it turned out to be the pieces that they use to balance the wheels inside the rim. The pieces were rubbing against the rotor, and since they were spaced apart it would sound just like that card on a bike tire that you talked about. Don't know if this is your problem, but since the wheels were off for the brake job, you never know what went on in there.
