What\'s the solution to wheel well noise?

When I drive in the rain, I get a lot of noise from the rain coming off the tires into the wheel wells and I can't hear very well! I know it is not the time of year for rain, but I wanna coat the wheel wells with something to dampen the noise. I have considered Herculiner, is there anything that would be easier than that? Who else has this problem? Has anyone done this? Thanks a lot!

Wire brush the hell out of it and spray it with rubberized undercoat. I used Westleys brand from Pep Boys and it made a tremendous difference in underbody noise.

I'm not creative enough to comeup with a new signature [IMG]

Do you have carpet? Do you have insulation under it? I took mine out for a month or so, and it was real loud. You can buy insulation from Home Depot, mine cost $15.

Put dynamat on the inside of the vehicle on the wheel wells. Makes a huge difference.
