This one threw me for a loop. While surfing through Summit's website and researching steering stabilizers, I clicked on Skyjacker's kit instructions that Summit had a link to.

Well the first page was exactly what i expected, but on the 2nd I was like WTF?

Check out Skyjacker's web site and you'll understand why.

    Hey Glenn,

Skyjackers' owners have a strong belief and faith in the LORD JESUS CHRIST. He means the world to them and they are not ashamed of their faith and trust in HIM. Lonnie isn't ramming Jesus down your throat. He's just stating publically what the LORD has done for him. It takes a bit of courage to do this and I applaud and stand behind Skyjacker for their testament of faith. Ultimately, what they are trying to say is that the LORD will do for you, what HE has done for them. Lonnie's just asking you to think about it.

    Manny

I'm a catholic myself so not to confuse anyone.

Good for them that they have that much faith in JC and I don't really see a problem in putting JC promotional stuff with their products. I just thought that it was a bit out of the ordinary.

If you feel its "crap" then just don't read it. You can make a choice about it like any other thing going on in your life, and if you don't agree with their choice to put that in there, then don't patronize their business. I'm sure they will be comfortable with that.

Skyjacker is doing well enough that I'm sure they won't miss a few sales to people who don't like the "crap" they include with their products.

That "crap" makes me wish I'd bought my lift from them. Too late now, but I will certainly try to do business with them in the future!!

Ok then, I don't feel I need to paper my house with it, but I don't mind reading about it either, as a matter of fact I find it remedial.
Didn't mean to PO you more, maybe my delivery wasn't worded right, I meant to come across as "just decide to not read it, and pass over that page". Its a simple decision like we all make many times a day.
If I let everything bother Me this much, I would have a bunch of bad days.
Again sorry to offend, I was just stating my point of view about making a simple decision.

in fact it makes shopping easier, one less company to look at for stuff to buy.

you believe what you want to believe, and thats cool, but the propaganda is garbage.

Jesus isn't imaginary. HE is as real and as living as ever! Why are you upset at what you yourself proclaim in your own sig line? I didn't say it. I'm not insinuating it. It's a black and white case of calling the kettle black. But like you said, to each his own. Jesus doesn't need me to defend HIM. I just hope, sincerely, with all my heart, that HE touches you, and you come to know HIM. You won't regret it.

And the paranoid religious right has more of the mediocrity.

You gonna start spouting Falwell now Manny? :deal:

Anyway, I call it "Voting With Dollars."

When somebody wants to spout nonsense -- be it the hateful "we don't ship to APO/FPO" floor mats jerk, or Skyjacker touting Jeebus -- that's their right. This is America.

And it's my right, which I exercise, not to buy from them. I feel that commerce is about buying and selling, not about beliefs, and if someone wants to foist their beliefs off on me ... I'll go elsewhere.

I betcha, Manny, if they were touting gay marriage rights you'd be telling them to take their crap down in a heartbeat.
