    What\'s This?

Ok, I got my Doubler shifter (twin stick) and I have a mystery part. What is the flat piece with the 2 pieces of tubing welded on it? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

That should be the spacer to locate your shifters in the factory hole in the floor. What tranny are you running?

I'd say a 205 with the twin stick set-up, or at least it will have it sooner or later.

There is a spacer that is needed depending on what transmission is being used, IE: TH350, TH400, 700R4, SM465. All of the transmissions have a different length to them so the shifter has to be spaced accordingly and that is what the spacer is for, some spacers are longer than others.

Ok I got it now, I didn't even think about needing to reposition the shifters. Thanks! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Yup, the spacer makes up for the trans length.

Dr. Watson, did you get my email about the 203 shaft? (Edit: the one with the tracking number)

    Thanks!
