    Nope, no problems here. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I've done it before though, and it was because I spelled it wrong typing in a hurry. You probably typed "www.goggle.com" into your address bar. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Google is working just fine. However, you have picked up a Trojan Horse, probably from one of those porn sites that you visited. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Your browser has been HIJACKED! /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif You need to get the latest security patches for your browser. Read this:

    http://www.atnewyork.com/news/article.php/3087441

In IE 6, you can just click on Tools -> Windows Update, to get the latest patches for all of your Windows and IE versions. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I also highly recomend that you download and run Spybot. It does a good job of removing crap like that from your system. And the best part is that it's FREE! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif You can download it here:

    http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10194058.html?tag=lst-0-1

When you launch it, first click on the "Update" button at the left of the screen. That will download the latest and greatest list of malware/scumware that it looks for. They update that part of the program a few times each month, so check back frequently by clicking on the update button each time that you run it. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

adaware is free, i would get that

Spybot is also free. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I have Spybot and Adaware on my system, but I like Spybot better. It scans faster and I can run Adaware afterwards and it won't find anything that Spybot missed.

The other thing that I really like about Spybot is its "immunize" feature. It will block many spyware/scumware programs from ever getting into your system. With its latest update it blocks 506 known threats. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Another way to block a lot of crap is to NOT use Internet Explorer. Most of the spyware/scumware out there is written to specifically attack holes in IE. Netscape 7.1 is pretty slick and has a built-in popup blocker. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Beta 0.7 of the Mozilla Firebird browser is also very stable and includes a built-in popup blocker. Both Netscape 7.1 and Mozilla Firebird also allow you to open mulitple sites within the browser, each opening within it's own tabbed window. I like that feature a lot! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
