I have been leaking oil latley but I cannot figure out where it is coming from. I just replaced my radiator and I think that it may be coming from the oil cooler in the radiator but i cant tighten the connections anymore. Its a slow leak but it has slowly covered all of my passenger side shocks and the passenger side of the axle. I am concerned about the ramifications of this. I dont know what to do. Anyone have any ideas?

Degrease your engine real well, then see if you can find it

I've had the fittings that connect the rubber hose to the metal line start leaking on 2 different vehicles with the factory oil cooler option. [IMG] GM is VERY proud of those lines too. [IMG] You need to get everything very clean first, then it's much easier to locate the source of the leak.

Try your dipstick tube if it is on the passenger side, I've had that happen twice.

It all started happening AFTER I replaced the radiator. I think im going to try and get some ruber o rings to put down.

Clean everything up real well, change your oil and add some oil dye. When it leaks again take a flourescent light and it will show where the leak is coming from. You could also take some teflon tape and wrap it around your fittings on the oil cooler. Maybe that will take up some slack.

That jeep thing? Yah I understand it....... Like my Blazer? http://community.webshots.com/user/blazerk5

I finally got rid of all my leaks after doing valve cover gaskets, rear main seal, distributor ring, and oil sending unit. I also replaced my oil pan, but i don't think the old one was leaking.

Anyway, my biggests leaking culprit was the oil sending unit. Oil was going right through it. It seamed like that thing got worse and worse as i fixed all the other leaks. Now it isn't leaking at all :-)
