ok i first got dsl form verizon 12 months ago, has been 30 a month and 1.2 meg connection,
they just sent a letter saying some stuff about goingb to 37 a month soon and such,
im now down to 488.1 kb

what is the deal with verizon and what are they up to now ?

but i dont tihnk we have any other broadband ISP around here(central IL)

    what would you do ?

I haven't looked into it but have seen it advertised: Satellite broadband internet. DirectTv and Dish Network have it.

Everytime I've looked into sattellite, it's a bad deal. You need a land line and your monthly bandwidth is limited
