Well, you are going to laugh, but we have one computer, and five users.

How many computers do you have / compared to users?

Two PC's , two people . We share MINE , the other is for guests and me to learn Linux stuff on :D

And enough stuff to make several computers .

Always have a third I'm working on for family/friends , so technically 3 working at once .

There are 4 in the house but the kids want to go places that seem to get a virus :( So when the last computer died we put the new one in the bedroom where it is just for me and the wifey. I play when see is at work or diner or somethin'. She has all the other time she is here. The kids use very very little since they seem to need the supervision.

2 users - 1 computer that works. 3 total, plus a lap top. In other words, 2 users, one computer and a bunch of frustrating crap. :D

It varies, but generally, 5 users to 1 computer. But, I have a work laptop I break out at home if my wife or kids are on our fambly computer and I need to do something, and we have a laptop in the bedroom and for travelling that we rarely but do occasionally use.

I also have a half dozen servers running in the basement, but noone uses them except me :D.

BTW, Linux is an operating system. Like Windows is an operating system, Linux is a free one, and it's more suited for server work, as the graphic user interface is kinda cheesy and not as well developed as Microsoft's Windows.

One person, one cat -- but she can't type.

Two servers, one desktop, five laptops (two for work, one kitchen, one living room, one garage for MP3's). Oh, and a dedicated console PC for playing DVD images. And the NTP laptop.

I think that's one user and ten machines. :doah:
