I am swapping hubs on a dana 60 from drw to srw. I did not get bearings with the srw hubs, can't afford new ones right now. The bearings in the drw hub are fairly new, and the races in the srw hubs are in good shape. Is it ok to use the bearings from the drw hubs in the srw hubs, or would I have to move the races over too?

Most bearing companies will tell you not to interchange the races and bearings. The bearing will actually lap itself to the race in normal use. I do not reccomend it if you want to see it last for awhile.

Screw it, just put it together. You can buy new bearings later. If you swap the races over you'll definitely be good to go.

Otherwise, just throw it together...it probably won't hurt anything, but it's a bad practice.

Thanks, I will probably just use them, I will replace them sooner or later.
