can one put an 8 lug wheel on a 6 lug axle, if so does it affect the strength of the wheel? I found a nice deal on some 36's and AE 589 but they're 8 bolt and i have a corporate 12 and a Dana 44.

    thanks,

    Phill

If I understand your question, I am sure that you will need 6 lug wheels for your 12 bolt/Dana 44. The 8 lug wheels would not even bolt up to your 6 lug setup.

How much are you paying for them.
