Ok guys, I just picked up a set of 31x10.50x15 tires for my 90 Jimmy. I have the stock 15x7 wheels and I also have 15x10 black rock crawler wheels. I know the rock crawler wheels will look better, but will 31x10.50x15 tires fit a 10" wide wheel? Should I mount the tires on the 7" wide wheel? This should only be temporary until I can get my other axles and lift put on. Thanks

they'll fit on either , but look really stretched out on the 10" rims. i would go for the stockers. some people like that look but not me.

I'd try them on the 10s, but 8s are ideal for 31x10.50

Depends what you want to do with it.
I had a set of 31's on 10" rims on my daily driver and they looked bad ass, but for off road I had the skinny 7" rims with a set of 31's too.
That was when my wheeling was moderate.

Now I always go with the skiniest wheel I can fit my tires on.

Thanks for the replies. I would love to have an 8" wheel, but I don't and since this is a temporary set up, Iam not going to spend money for new wheels. The axles I am putting on is 8 hole and I have 6 hole now.
