any one know of any wheel spacers that can be used on the stock rearend??
Cotact WFO concepts (? think that's right!) on the vendor forum. I got mine from him.
I have a pair of 1" spacers for sale. PM me if interested.
We Just finished up a batch here in 1", 1.25", 1.5" with 2" available in all 5 and 6 bolt sizes. Billet 6061 with studs and nuts included. Not on the site yet so just give us a call or email if you'd like more info
now can they be used on the stock rearend without harm?
yes they can be used with no problems. They just bolt on to your factory studs will small acorn nuts and then use the studs pressed in the spacer to bolt the wheel on. If you don't like them you can take them off in the amount of time it takes to change a tire.
ok....how much for a set of 1.5 inch or 1 inch?
Our spacers are $100 for a pair of 1.5" spacers.
any one got pics with these spacers installed on their trucks?
Yep. Mine may only be 1", I forget ... bought 'em on Ebay.
The white chunk up top is the wheel well, as I was primering the truck at the time.
You can get a wheel spacer made for a toyota as well because they share the same six lug bolt pattern as a chevy 1/2 ton. All Pro Off-road makes them. You can see them here:
I have been running a set of 1.5" spacers now for 2 years on my DD and for 12 months on my off road truck only thing i have found for the first couple of months you just have to re tighten them as they settled in other than that they are great and make the back of the truck look wide as a mofo. why chevy never did this I will never know.
