Wheel spacers on stock K5?

Discussion in '1973-1991 K5 Blazer | Truck | Suburban' started by **DONOTDELETE**, May 31, 2000.

Will there be any problems putting the wheel spacers from the product reviews (also from Jeff's thread) on my stock K5? I off-road a little, all mud. Will the axle take it and will it affect highway driving? Thanks as always everybody.

This is a real good question. When I once asked a GM mechanic about that track width difference, he said it was to IMPROVE the down the road tracking of the truck. Anyone else have an opinion.

I have been running these same spacers with no problems, and that's with 35" tires and lots of serious fourwheeling (two busted front axle u-joints in the last 3 months). I really didn't notice much, if any, change on the road, though they do seem to help keep the vehicle going straight in the ruts and mud.
