Anybody see this guy try to drive his jeep through nearly roof high water? I've been watching and laughing. It looks like he was doing ok while the water was at his hoodline. It got up to mid windshield and the ole heep couldn't take any more. He must have a relocated intake... I don't see how he could have made it that far without one. Poor guy, I hope he at least saves his truck.

So much for tread lightly eh?

I hope that moron looses his heep, he probally did an unbelieveable amount of damage to the river bottom, and kicked up enough silt to kill pretty much anything downstream of him...

damage to the riverbottom? potentially... silt killing everything downstream? not likely. Stop drinking the enviro-wacko koolaid. Mother nature dumps dirt into rivers all the time, somehow fish survive. Not saying its good to blast across rivers in 4x4s... but lets not crap our drawers over it.

Its true, dirt is moved constantly. However, when you rip a 4x4 through a stream, you kick up enough dirt to choke things out. Ever tried to breath in a room full of dust? Yeah, makes you cough, imagine getting mud stuck to your gills, I can't imagine you'd breath too well either.

I'm no eco-wacko, but I'm not an idiot either, I don't drive through rivers half way up the windsheild to try and show off. Its idiots like that who get trails closed down, and the true eco-wacko's more of a foothold to restricting all offroad vehicles to a 10 acre lot somewhere in the Nevada Desert.
