  4. mudhog, we went west out of town towards Tumalo Falls and started crusin forest service and power line roads. really couldn't get to everything because of the snowpack up high. the hills we found looked to us like old logging roads. just some local wheelin.

sorry to every one if the pics take a while to load- maybe i should have put them on Zing. just wanted them on my site i guess.

Anyone that thinks the frame on a K5 doesn't flex much needs to take a closer look at the relationship between the bumper and body in that picture! [IMG]

  8. blazenor and mudhog,
sounds good! we should wait a month or so as much of the area up there is still under snow. i'll make regular trips up there and let you know when we can get farther up. lots of forest service roads and such. some lakes too from what i hear. i'll do some more research and see what i can come up with! when are you guys going out next? anywhere in the cascades? i'm sure hood still has a lot of snow too.

Keep us posted. Don't want to 'wheel my truck much till I get the one ton conversion done (mostly 'cause my lame AT tires turn into slicks in anything but sand!) and have a lot of other non-wheeling/truck stuff going on. Should have the conversion done by mid-May.............
