Hey everyone! I moved to Rochester NY in 2002 from Denver and STILL haven't found any decent place to wheel. WHere do you guys wheel? I am dying here, just put one tons, lockers and 37's on my 71 blazer and need a slightly less muddy place to wheel!

Well you are half way to Paragon and Rouche Creek from here so that would be a 4hr ride for you. Those are probably the premiere spots in the area. Mud is a fact up here and their isn't much we can do about it. My club has one 60 acre parcell we have trails on that is great when dry but once it rains the traction goes south and we have mud for a few weeks. Its hit or miss depending on the weather that year.
NY might be different but in NH,Me,Mass and Vt the only real options are unmantained roads and private land with landowner permission. Clubs are the real answer in this area as they have the private land permission that we all seek. It is alot easier for me to approach a timber company and say "Hi I am Nate, VP of NEWJO a member of the NEA4WDC. We work clossely with the NH F&G to promote legall and responsable off highway recreation, I would like to talk to you about the pottential of us using your property" then it is to say, "hi I am Nate and I want to wheel on your land" Yah know. :D

where's rouche creek? never heard of that one. there's almost no place in the northeast to wheel where you're not going to find mud.

Rauche Creek is in either NJ or PA. Try TNTOffroad.com. A few guys from Northern NY there.

Taking 3 or 4 trucks from this area and hooking up with a couple other's on the way and more when we get there. :thumb:

Had another member from here show me NEOW, it's a New England based site that will help you hook up with other's in your area.

I've found several other members from different boards there. :waytogo:

Hack500 you are all set over on NEOW as Hack5, joined Jan 15th and validated on Jan 17th. Not sure if you tried previous to that under a different email or something. We do only grant access to pay emails, not yahoo adresses and stuff.
