Wow that is some serious flexing, too bad half of it is in the frame and body. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
I did a lot of wheeling with my 2wd Van, too bad I don't have any pics anymore, gone in the fire, but I had started a 4wd conversion so I had the tcase in it but no front axle, and no lockers but I did a lot of off roading, and only got stuck once.
I love camping and it was the best truck to take camping and the low range helped a lot, especially on snow runs when going down on icy section, engine breaking is the only way and the low gearing helped a lot.

I've seen some seriously flexy 2wd trucks running lockers and getting agressive off road. They tend to get more speed on ascent then I'd like though!

that was originally the plan.... not real sure anymore...
contemplating leaving as is... no lift, or bigger tires.. work on engine, body and interior.. and be done with it.. but who knows.. i was looking up 'glass fenders for it.. would like to find a K5 or CJ7 for my next project.. we shall see...

Reminds me of my '75 C-10 (350/3-spd/ 31" ATs) & playing w/ it on the farm. It did just fine on hills, mud, etc. as long you kept your speed up! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
