When to tell for new wheel bearings?

    How can i tell if i need new wheel bearing?? I have them out of the axle right now, they look alright, so i was just going to reback them and put them.

    Check for scoring on the bearing and race. Also check for blueing (from excess heat) and of course that the rollers aren't loose and ready to fall out. If they pass those checks, repack 'em and put them back in!

    If you put new bearings in do not forget to put in new races as well......very important.
