I want to build something like that for a tow vehicle. Someday I will. There is a Ford F650 that goes past my work semi often with a dually bed on it that you can tell serves just that purpose. There is a dealership down the line that has another F650 with a dually bed and like all the options for $100,000.

Buyers will also have to have a fair amount of money to fill it up -- it's projected to get between 6 and 10 miles per gallon of diesel fuel.
The vehicle weighs about seven tons empty and can carry another six tons in its truck bed.

Come'on Evan...you know you want one! Only a hundred grand!

air brakes like you'd find on a semitractor

Most states require a special endorsement on driver's licsenses for air brakes and 20 tons towing, I'm sure people who buy one of these will be certain to have their licsense updated... /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

If you got the dough to get one, i kinda doubt your worried about the maintenance...I don't like it, not very practical unless you do a crap load of towing. Why would u use it as a DD?
