Yeah, I guess I need to go by a junk yard and see what I can find.

I do get a dealer discount @ LMC. I need to check my price on them. I forgot all about LMC...

I am not sure what I am going to do with it. I may be parting it out or trying to sell it whole, but who knows.

I am starting on my '89 K5 - Rockwell project. I will likely run some 56" springs up front with 63" in the back, especially seeing zcarczar's results from the 52"s up front.

I'll have some shackles from a 78 K30 C&C in the next week or so if you want them. I haven't seen them yet but they are supposed to be in real good shape. If you need them they're yours, let me know.

    I'll take them!

R72K5 - Not sure if the '67 would work or not. I thought they used coils in those early model trucks??

Daniel, do I need to get a hold of Kyle so we can have an "intervention" to stop all this crazy talk about "selling" or "parting out" your rig? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif Ditto on what everyone else said, too. Way too nice (and capable) of a truck to get rid of. Maybe you could "give it" to the wifey once "project Rockwell" is completed.

My 7 year old daughter thinks she is going to drive the '90 when she turns 16...However, I have too much money tied up in something I rarely drive to just sit there and rot. That K5 is at a point in its life cycle where it's good on and off road, but it could be better at both. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it across country, wheel, and drive it home. But I want a offroad BEAST and don't care about road manners, that's what a toe rig is for. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Oh, and we're building a house so the cash would be nice.
