Anyone know where I can find a CUCV 14 bolt for sale? I found one but the Dana 60 comes with it and I already have a 60.

  2. There is a guy down here by me that deals in military trucks. He is just to the West of Fort Knox, KY about 15 miles or so. He quoted me $200 or $250 two year ago for a 14 bolt FF with 4:56's in it and I understand that they all have Detroits in them too. D60's were priced at $850. I need to call him to see if he still deals in them. Let me look up the number for him if you are interested let me know.

Negative. $1000 + shipping. Thats not bad though. I have been calling around and used the junkyarddog.com thing. Same problems, most guys claim almost new stuff. Get a pic and its far from new.

Contact board member Wayne, he and his friend Roger, IMHO, have one of the best deals going. Yes, there are always exceptions, but if anybody has a clue as to what a D60 is, you will be pay $1000 plus if it is in any kind of shape.

I have purchased 3 sets of axles from Wayne and Roger and they have all been top quality with Detroits in the 14B's and 4.56 gears and only cosmetic flaws. The 14B/D60 that is in my Jimmy only required cleaning and paint, out of personal preference I turned the rotors and replaced the calipers.

Again, there are always exceptions, but the bargin 60 will cost you quite a bit to rebuild, especially if you have to change the gears.
