This is so annoying. The buzzer that sounds when you open your door - where is it located? Evidently my truck thinks the door is always open because it does it incessantly when the key is in he ignition.
I want to remove it and burn it on a stake, so someone please tell me where it is.

I believe on the earlier stuff they're sometimes plugged into the fuse-block under the dash and you should be able to track it down by hand. Make sure your turn sigs still work after you yank it out and BEFORE ya stomp the little bugger!

Mine is going to be different...maybe because I don't have a buzzer that goes on when the door is open...but the buzzer for the headlights is also on the fuse for the taillights, dash lights and parking lights, so if you take it out, those won't work. Have you checked the doorjamb for the plunger that goes in when the door is closed? Maybe its broken.

I agree. Take the plunger out of the door. Probably broken, although they usually rust/corrode so that they never know tha tthe door is open. Could have a bare wire in there. It's maybe either orange or white wire, my '86 has both going to it, one for buzzer, one for lights. Buzzer on mine is above the gas pedal, on its own seperate block of relays and such. Most of the older GM's I have seen with buzzer have it plugged into the fuse panel FWIW.

My 79 had the buzzer on the very top of the fuse block..........a bit hard to get to but worth taking out...........and then stomping on it.
