I have a mechanical temp gauge and I have it in the top of the intake manifold, but I noticed that the factory electric gauge is in the head. Does it make a difference? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Wherever the sending unit will fit in. The cylinder's that run hottest are #7 and #8, so a head fitting would be a good point.
