I have my 60" mounted horizontally on the right inner bed wall. It keeps it a bit cleaner and out of harms way.

I haven't gotten mine installed yet, but I'm going to mount mine under the hood over the fan shroud...

I've got pick of this on a early 70's ford! nice place to put it... stayes out of the way, and in a good place that doesn't tend to get mud and garbage on it!

Let me know if you'd like pics, and I'll get some of it to post here...

Mine was installed on the front bumper, but now it is laying in the rear.. When I get a cage, I will mount it to that...

Hey wookie i would love to see those pics. i never thought of putting my hi-lift under the hood.

UseYourBlinker- mine mounted on my SEC tire carrier on the back. The weather is having a fun time with it too. i am having a tough time keeping the jack from rusting. If i can fit it under the hood i will move it there like Wookie is planning on doing.

Mine rolls around the back and when I turn makes a cool *thud* sound......someday when I get a rollcage in there it'll be mounted to that.....

Mine is mounted horizontally across the top of the front bumper I fabbed up. No road salt here to speak of so the occasional squirt of oil and all is good![IMG]
    Plus it scares other drivers...

Hey, I've got those pics I promised... The location wouldnt work out quite the same, but you get the general idea! [IMG] There are little black circles around where you set the jack, and then you just use wing-nuts to secure it... pretty basic. [IMG]

I have measured it out, and it will fit right on top of the fan shroud... Only thing it may interfer with is the stock air filter, but mine didn't have one so I'm running a K&N... [IMG]

Mine's mounted to a custom PreRunner bar. The mounting tabs are just welded on the main bar.

On the front bumber. It's easy to get to, but I lost the handle flying down some gravel roads a while back. I remember hearing myself run over something, but just thought it was a large rock. Good thing it didn't damage anything.

The problem with mounting it to my bumper's is that the front and rear on my Blazer are stock. I think I am going to mount it onto the side panel opposite the spare in the cargo area.

I mounted mine inside on the L/H side. Hit the custom storage link on my web page to see pics. Before that I mounted it to two tiedown rings I have mounted in the floor.

No problem. If you didn't find it already, click on the "drawings" to see how I made the stuff. If you have any "?" drop me an e-mail.
