where the heck does this bolt on?????

    the positve battery cable on the passenger side, that goes to the starter. its just flopping around right now but it has an insulated clip on it that wants to be bolted down. i cant seem to figure where ts supposed to go. please help me, thanks

    Mine is bolted to the edge of the frame rail which directs the positive cable inside the frame and towards the starter. I think it's only purpose is to prevent chafing the insulation of the positive lead...

    From recent experience in changng out the rear main seal, the insulated clip on my 6.2 was bolted to the underside of the oilpan on the passenger side and it routes the starter cable in between the engine mount and the oilpan. I think it uses the 2nd bolt from the mount on the front side of the mount.
