I'm trying to make my own CO2 air compressor like PowerTank. Looking for a place online that sells 15 gal. size aluminum CO2 tanks. I found 10 gal. ones for a decent price, but want it bigger. Thanks for any help.

you mean pounds, not gallons. ;)

at any rate, check make-beer-at-home supply places...those nuts use them for kegs or something. I remember loooong ago I found a place online that had cheap 20 pound tanks...but shipping sucked. I'd recommend checking with local beer or welding places.

Yep, pounds. Email Keith, he did his and its cheaper to lease the tank than buy it.

I just got mine from the local welding supply shop. Mine is the 20 pounder and I started off by painting it and having mine refilled. Well to refill it, it cost me about 25 a pop. Then one time I didn't have time to wait for it to be refilled and just swapped it out and it only cost about $12. What I'm gonna do is just buy a scuba tank cover for it just so it won't look so bad and continue to swap them out. I think I paid about $100 for the tank the first time.

I got a 15# SCBA tank for free and have it filled with C02 . Check with your local scuba store or do like I did and visit your local volunteer fire dept. Chances are the fire dept can point you in the right direction to find a tank for cheap.

Yeah, yall know what I mean [insert middle finger here]..hahahah [IMG]

Yeah, I checked with my local weld shop and they sell the bottles at $160 + and weren't the aluminum light weight kind. The 10lb one I found on line was only like $90some, so I figure 15lb one wasn't going to be too much more.
I think there is a scuba shop close by, thanks for the idea...I'll check em out. Take care yall.
Dep, hmm, leasing.....can definately save some $$ that way.....

It's brand new and shipped for free. You just need to have it filled since they are not allowed to ship filled cylinders.

    See Ya,
