Where to buy a Front Bug Deflector for a \'77 K5?

Does anyone know where I can buy a front bug delfector to fit a '77 K5? The bugs in Colorado & Kansas really make a mess out of my windshield.

Tried J.C.Whitney and they only have '89 and newer.

What I really want is a smoke tinted see-through deflector.

The height of the front edge of the hood changed when they went to the "streamlined" look. From '73 to '80 the hood went almost straight forward to the front edge. Starting in '81, the hood curves down to the front, so the front edge is quite a bit shorter.

I've got a smoke one that came on my '90 Suburban. Went out and checked the fit on the hood of my '75, to see if you could use it, but no go. It tapers back too soon. [IMG]

8' snowplow might work if you keep it up, really cut down on approach angles though

Damn, I had no idea that I was asking for a miracle, the parting of the heavens, and a bug deflector to magically appear.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I have checked will ALL the CK5 advertisers, all the links, and scoured the internet, and yet, NOTHING. Apparently no one sells a bug deflector (much less a smoke tinted one) to fit a '77 K5.

Looks Like I will have to cut my own out of smoke tinted Lexan. It'll probably last longer, but I don't think that the cuts will look too clean. Maybe a Lexan shop would be able to cut one and have it look cleaner.
