Hey, I was looking to buy another pellet gun, or BB gun, but my selection in town in limited, is there a good place online to buy them and what are some good brands you would recommend. I have only used Crosman and want to try others. Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    What are you looking for?

Try sportsman guide first. They have a decent selection of 1.77 caliber ones. I like beeman or Gammo.

If you want realistic firing, hard to beat the airsoft.

Do you have a Walmart nearby? The ones here have 5 or 6 pellet guns to choose from and the prices are great. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

they are $275-300. Quite a bit for an airgun... but its the kind of airgun you can pass on to your kids. High quality to say the least.

when I was a kid I saved up my pennies and got a Crossman 2100 Classic. That bad boy could go over 800 fps if you really pumped it up... pretty kick azz for a sub-$75 airgun. No doubt not as high quality as the beeman, but a good air rifle none the less. Used to kill the hell out of birds with it in my friends back yard. With pellets it was accurate too, I had a scope mounted on mine (2.5-7x I think) and I picked off a flying humming bird at about 35 yards one time with it. Not bad! My dad used to grab it and use it on blue-jays that would wake him up at 5am... he got seveal head shots on them with it. If there were no birds to shoot at, I used to plink little green army men at 25 yards. Good little multi-pump air rifle if you aren't looking to spend over $100. I dont think you will get more power in any air rifle that costs so little.
