    My kid wants a Go Kart for his B-Day and we're looking for a build it yourself job but I'm having trouble finding some decent links.....

    my old one was from Northern Hydraulics, i think they sell kits to build your own, or you can buy a whole one, mine was a 8hp Honda, big tires, fun times.................Just remember, NEVER let him wear shorts when playin in the mud /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

    Northern Tools has a big selection of Go-Karts and all the bits and pieces to build yer own if that's your thing.

    Check your local paper and also see if your town has any of those little weekly things that come out like the Nickle Ads or the Penny Saver... I found a nice go kart in there for like $500 and if I had the money I would have bought it at the time....

    I got to looking into offraod karts a few months ago. In fact, found one site that was pretty decent with directions, but of course a tube bender and welder is necessary.

I believe he is also using Honda motors now..Those hondas last forever..He might help you if you want a set of plans.. Tell him you got the # from his website...Dan
