Anyone know where I might be able to order one of the interior panels for my pick up that is already the correct color (pre-dyed)? Both LMC and GM only sell panels which need to be painted to match. This is the plastic panel between the door and the rear window in a standard cab pick up. The color is charcoal.

    Thanks,

    Eric M.

    Don't think you'll find them.

Hate to sound cynical, but I've spent 3 years looking for the correct interior color door panels.

Thats my advice, look for people parting out trucks until you find what you need, shouldn't be that tough, plenty of trucks running around. I hope : )

I work next to a car stereo theft replacement shop. They are always replacing panels that got busted up in the theft. They have a company come out and dye the panels to an exact match. I think you can just buy the dye and prep the panel yourself, then apply the dye.

The next time I see the van parked out back I'm going to ask about it. I too am going to need to match up most of my interior. I'll post what they tell me the next time I see them.

I ordered my dash pad from chevrolet, and was told that it would need to be dyed, no color selection available, so I ordered it and it came in grey, my color!
    Just got lucky.
JC whitney sells some colored panels, but I dont know about the quality.

SEM makes a vinyl dye that is supposed to be *excellent*. Of course, dunno if it would work on the door panels, can't remember what they are made of. ABS?

I think the coverlay stuff fits over existing panels, pads, etc.

I bought some viyl spray paint from Schucks, Only tried painting one piece so far and it looks good. You can also try taking the pieces to a car audio shop to see if they would paint yours if you're worried about it not looking good.

I believe the Coverlay dash's are covers but the door panels say replacement.

anatomiczero - If thats the same stuff I've used in the past, it sucks. It scratches off and peels real easy. I found spray paint to work better than the spray on vinyl. I am hoping to use the real liquid dye this time around.
