I bought mine from Motor Replacement Company here in Tucson for $1100. It was a little cheaper for the older 2 piece rear main seal type I think. They have a 3 yr 36,000 mile warranty . And they're in Phoenix too.

They run around $1,400 from the dealerships here in Tucson. That seems to be the going price at most places. If you know someone you might get it for a couple hundred less.

I've never heard of jaspers around here but i can say that i havent taken a look yet. i'll keep an eye out. has anyone bought an engine over the internet? i see the gm engines listed on www.gmpartsdirect.com and www.summitracing.com. I am thinking about picking up this model part number (12486041) 350 HO, and using edelbrocks EDL-3503 multi-point electronic fuel injection system. has anyone ran this type of set up?

If your interested I can hook you up with a brand new 6.0 Denali crate for $2500, but your still looking at another $800 for Wiring lum and fine tuning. Also acess to the new 5.3. Good luck.
