Where to get Dana 60 1/8\" thick cover

Anybody know? The one I have now is the cheap (1/16") tin version. A Dana 70 cover will also fit. Any suggestions? TIA

Why not keep your cover and just get an Avalanche Rock Ring for it? That way you get protection from rocks hitting the ring gear and also protection from cover peelback from scraping over rocks...just my .02...

These ones are pretty cool and not too expensive. The guy even adds a drain plug, which is kind of a nice feature.

It's a Dana/Spicer brand. There is ALWAYS someone on eBay selling these covers, brand new. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

You guys are too cool /forums/images/icons/cool.gif , THANKS! 18-28 sounds right for what I need. The MOO unit is a little too pricey for me.

The thick covers are normally front covers. They come from the factory thicker for getting hit on things I suppose. /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif How bout that.........an automotive engineer that actually had a good thought! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Just so you'll know, I have a 357 Mag and a big dog. I would really hate to find anyone (and I mean ANYONE) sniffing around my rig late at night... /forums/images/icons/ooo.gif /forums/images/icons/wink.gif /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
