14ff will fit 15 inch rims without grinding. I know this for sure as I just bolted mine on today.[IMG] The front axle needs the calipers ground for 15 inch wheels if you are converted to 8 lug.

Do you have Discs on the Rear?
Will you have to do the same to the Rear discs as you would the front?

4 wheeling is like sex, when its good, its really, really good, when its bad its still pretty good.

i got the big drum 14BFF, so i don't see how a 15" would bolt right up. I have never heard of a d60 having to be ground down...but hey...i love power tools so the more the merrier ( i need to learn to speel [IMG])
I got drums all the way around. thing stops like a race car, or atleast compared to the brakes on mt d44/12BSF set up [IMG]
does anyone have pics of the grinding??

You have a '77 truck and drum brakes all the way around? How is that possible? '77 trucks all have disc brakes on the front axles.

I take it you did not read zakk's quote as he said above. [IMG]

So, why don't you think and before replying like you just did, reread the previous posts. [IMG]

I was replying back to zakk to ask how it's possible his '77 has drum brakes on the front.

Someone needs to read and think a little better than others!!! [IMG]

To stir things up even more: 476,394 Blazers came from the factory with a front D60 axle. [IMG]

Didn't you understand the quote I said? "To stir things up even more"?

That quote meant that I was being a smart ass!! [IMG]

ANYBODY knows a Blazer never came from the factory with a D60, or any 8 lug axle!! [IMG]

No grinding at all on the 14 bolt no matter what size drum ya got. Now the front is different. I darn near grinded off the entire caliper and backing plate to get my 15 inchers on. so far so good.

Man, you really know how to get on someones nerves, don't you? [IMG]

Obviously you are not a rocket scientist and cannot read very good. You seem to miss the whole question that was directed to the owner of the truck with the drum brakes all the way around.

Don't you even know that K-series DID NOT have drum brakes on the front axles? Just disc brakes? Man, what century are you living in?

    you not velly funny man
and you say i have no sense of humour....
    thin skinned red neck aintcha?
so because no K's came with drums, and no K5's came with d60's, you still cant figure out that it is very possible that he has drums on a dana60. could he have perhaps done an axle swap? from nasty old dodge er something?
not saying he did, and he may have full well slipped up, but it is possible that someone swapped a nasty ole dodge or ford drum brake axle.
i have seen dodge front dana 70 drum brakes under a 1981 ford longbox frame with a 1966 ford body on 44"TSL

Well, I went to the bathroom and looked at my neck in the mirror and it appears to be 'flesh-colored'. [IMG]

I also looked down to see what I was wearing on my feet. Tennis shoes. I also looked around the house to see if there were any cowboy boots around. Nope.

Then I went to our closet and looked around for a western shirt of any kind and found nothing.

So, sorry, no dice here. No red necks here. [IMG] Sorry to disappoint.

You are right on one thing: we can't get along because YOU are what makes this site interesting!!! [IMG]

instantly pigeon holed you as someone i never want to befriend and whos opinion means nothing to me. fun to prod you every once in a while though as you are always easy to get a rise out of.
