Front or back? For the rear I use a class III reciver hitch. I take out the reciver and run the pin through the loop on the strap and pin it in place. It works great for me.

When pulling from a reciver setup, be sure to take out the reciver hitch. In the even the pin shears the reciver will become a large projectile that will fly at the other truck. This is not good at all!!!!!

The easiest thing to do is just get a set of factory tow hooks for your year of K5, pickup, or Suburban. The holes are already in the frame so you can bolt on a set in about 5 minutes. :cool1:
