    I am putting on my HD front shackles that I got from ORD. The things come with 2 different bushings, both of which have the same diameter so... I dunno which ones go where. Here is a pic on ORDs site...

    so which ones go in the leaf springs and which go in the frame? thanks in advance!!

    Oh , I see what you mean now and yes the low profiles go on the frame or else the shackle wouldn't be plumb.... /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

    Ok Jason - I'm gonna put you in the way back machine and ask if your front springs were Superlift/Skyjacker type or not and if so, did you have any problems with the diameter of the eyes and this kit?

    Here's why;
    [FONT=&quot]My understanding is that the front eye on the Superlift / skyjacker spring is 1 1/2”, the rear eye is 1 1/8” and the frame is 1 1/2”.

    I have a '72 K5 with Skyjacker/Superlift springs. I need the sizes of the hanger to ft spring, spring to shackle and shackle to frame bushings?

    My recollection is 1 1/2", 1 1/8" and 1 1/8" but that doesn't seem right.

    I call ORD and after a lengthy debate about if I'd ever order from them before and how come they couldn't find my account (which I couldn't care less) the snot on the other end of the phone probably took my credit card information to the mall.

    Oh and since Jek likely still has these under a counter somewhere I figgured he may know the sizes.

    .
    I got your message and replied.

    Skyjacker and Superlift use all 1 1/8" bushings, in all 3 eyes.
