    Go with Hypoertherm , all they make is plasma cutters and the consumables are cheap too.

    I'd say hypotherm after doing the research with a coworker for a while.

    Although Depdog has a smoking deal on an ESAB in the for sale section!

    Check Ebay for these also. I got my hobart MIG from Toll Gas via Ebay for far less than anyone else including cyberweld and weldersdirect. Many have free shipping to the lower 48.

    When looking at the plasma cutters keep an eye on the output current when you compare them. Hobart and Miller seem to cloud that up a bit, and prefer to just tell you the maximum thickness you can cut with it. If you look close enough, you can actually find the specs. IMO, Hypertherm or ESAB seem to be tops in the plasmas.

    There's an ESAB in the "For Sale" area.....

    I like my HyperTherm FWIW.

    as far as I am concerned anything that says ESAB on it is good in my book...welders or plasma cutters. ESAB makes a fantastic product.
