I run an 18,000 GVW stacked plate cooler made by Long Inc. There was a bigger model available, but it didn't come with any of the fittings needed for the install.

If you are looking at buying a tranny cooler, stay away from the old tube/fin design. They don't cool as efficiently and aren't as durable.

the best cooler as far as technology goes, has to be the B&M. It is stacked plate like a radiator and can be had for around $50 from Summit Racing for the 24,000# cooling capacity.

    Just my .02

Just go with the biggest stacked plate type you can find. The tube and fin type are not as efficient and weaker.

I have a B&M stacked plate cooler for my trans fluid and one for my engine oil. The B&M super cooler is the biggest one they make.28000 GVW Cost around 60.00 They work good.

BTW. Longs coolers and B&M are exactally the same. Longs makes the coolers for B&M up in Canada. But its easier to find the B&M down here in the U.S.
