I'm being told by NAPA that 95% of the hybrid U-joints they sell for 1/2ton drivlines to 3/4ton rears are PN372 but I've heard on the boards that PN447 is very common to. The guy wants me to bring in the dimensions of each cup and then he can help me. I don't have the rear yet so let me verify one thing-I've got a 76K5 with a 12 bolt and D44-it uses the same u-joint in both driveshafts. I'm fairly certain that they are the 1310 series- am I CORRECT??? The 14 Bolt SF and FF use a 1350 u-joint CORRECT???

Stuck is a state of mind!

The 447 joint is the one I got to connect to my 14SF.

    I blew up my Napa 447 U-joint..
So I had a driveline shop cut the 1/2 ton ear's off my driveshaft and reweld on a 1350 (1-ton) series yoke so I can use a full 1350 series U-joint.. No problems with the u-joint or driveshaft..
    Just a suggestion.

    I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work. www.rocko.rockcrawler.com

Yup. back in 76, both drivelines use 1310 series, and Spicer 5-153X part no.

The Napa # 447 won't work for you. that's for the 1330/1350 combo... ~80' and later. You will need the 1310/1350 one.
