I put a Dana44 out of a '70 K20 in the front of my '91 K5 and i'm trying to connect my stock driveshaft to it. Just can't figure out which ujoint to use. Stock 1/2 ton joint doesn't fit in D44 yoke - caps too large in diameterv and too wide to fit between ears on yoke. any help? Thanks.

This isn't a direct answer to your question, but it should get you on your way. The first thing is, you have to find a counter person that is willing to help you with your search. Next, you take your stock application, get the U-joint cup size. Usually a 1310 I'd think, and then take the application of the front axle and get ITS U-joint size and then use the catalog and cross them and find a U-joint with a cross that fits the Driveshaft, and the other that fits the Axle. I'm sure you are looking at something like a 1310/1330 or 1330/1350 something like that. Those aren't part numbers, just actual sizes. Your application may differ.

    Best of luck,

    Corey

Its usually the Napa 447 or Napa 348. I used the 348 for my rear driveshaft (stock '79 to 14B) and the factory one for the front. One of those should do it. Pick up both and return the one that doesn't fit.

    1970 uses a small 260 spicer u joint
it is a 1310 with smaller caps then the regular 297 joint.
