The large spring that goes in behind the locking hubs, does the big end face out or in?

If it's converted to part time you can leave that spring out with most locking hubs. WHat brand hubs do you have?

I doubt you need it then. The spring was used in full time to keep the drive flange pushed out. The old spicer hubs used the spring also to disengage. Warn premiums, Wolverines, Mile marker I know for sure do not need that spring and I'm pretty sure the Supenwench are the same. I think Superwench is what wolverines became. I know the part time kit is now Superwench.
