which weld on repair kits?

    Ok I have a horrible frame crack and I need to buy a repair kit.

    Which one should I buy the

    ORD repair kit for $75

    or Blazen off roads kit for $70

    I believe they are both about the same. If you want the best protection ORD also has a bolt on kit and getting both is the answer.

    Pay attention to the welding instructions as you are supposed to weld only certain areas.

    Yea I noticed after I posted the pic next to each other.

    BTW I'm also getting the bolt on brace.

    Nvm guys I just ordered my self a weld on frame repair kit, and a Bolt steering box brace from ORD it will be here on Apr/27/07 :D

    I wanna know more about your story- please. Did you have just the bolt on or just the weld on when you had problems? Or neither?

    I put on the weld on kit when i lifted the truck- later I boxed and sleeved two bolts of the steering box. The other two weren't done cuz I'd have to rip it off if/when I do the 52" or 56" spring swap.

    Boxed and sleeved- Had to work with the steel I had on hand.

    well i just ordered both because i have neither and i run 38.5 tsls so my frame is phucked. i will get pic of the install befor and after

    OK so UPS just droped off my weld on repair kit and bolt on brace. These are some beefy pieces of steel.
