What wheelbase works best for most terrain? I have the option to shorten my truck up a bit while I have it torn apart. The wheelbase will be 134 after I put in the Zero Rates. I was thinking of more like 118" or so might be better. A lot of the terrain is tight where I go and I really have to work it to get it to fit in some places. But I didn't want to be as short as a Blazer. What wheelbase would be ideal? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

100-110 is generally regarded as the best wheelbase ballpark.

it is the width of our rigs that is killing us!

I was thinking of using a short box and cutting the frame to match. Then cut the frame right behind the spring hangers and cut the back of the bed to match. I know a flat bed is the easy way but, I like to be diffrent. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
