I just want to make sure I know who is from Michigan so when I decide to go wheeling or if you do we can help each other out by not having to depend on strangers...even tho other wheelers are usually cool it would be nice when I or you got really badly situated that someone would stay the course.

Hi. Down south of Grand Rapids about 20 minutes. Little place on M37 called Middleville. Somehow manages to show up on all the maps./forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

Everyone from Michigan go join that forum Wrath mentioned. I started it with The Sandman from ORC/Chevy and Jeff472 from here and ORC/Chevy. Not make specific, but kinda GM biased right now becuase it started with a bunch of guys on a few GM truck forums. It's not much so far, but we're hoping to get it going eventually. Have club runs and gatherings, etc. I'd personally like to get it going more so we can swap parts and sell stuff on it. Why have something shipped from North Dakota or New Mexico when someone might have it on the other side of the state?/forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I'm from Michigan. And one of the cofounders of the Michigan Online Offroaders (the site Wrath and AJM mentioned)...

Saginaw county. Town called Hemlock. It's on M46. Only really good place to wheel I've really found has been the silver lake dunes... I don't have a whole lot of funds to fix the broken off road toys so I'm sitting by on the side for now until the funds become available... /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

Does the UP count? I live in Houghton for the school year, attending Michigan Tech. Otherwise I live near Green Bay, and yes I am from Wisconsin.

There are a lot of trails in this area, but you have at least 5 hours of driving from the Mack, plus whatever it takes to get there.

I am about 45 min. north of Grand Rapids in a little town called Newaygo. M-37 runs right thru it. I'm interested in some group trail runs. We have about 10 ppl in this area of mixed vehicles, but its still cool to go out and have some fun. Let me know if anyone is ever in the area, later

I mean it takes 5 hours of driving to get from the Mack to Houghton. Although there are a lot of trails up here, there are also a lot in WI too. Technically, I'm from Gillett, northwest of GB by 30 miles. There are a lot of logging roads in both Marinette and Oconto county forests, plus in the Nicolet National Forest.

No but I have checked it out and we will make it grow......Michigan mud has more nutritional value than any place else in the world.....I think that THE GLACIERS purified it somehow....
