I'm out of town this week. I voted absentee.

Now, here's the issue I bitched a fit to the clowns at the township office.

I walk in, Yes, I'd like an absentee ballot please, I'll be out of town next week.
"Name & address please"...I verbally issue the information.
She hands me a ballot and wishes me a good day.
I was like, hey, aren't you going to ask me for some friggin ID here?
I told her, look, I know this is a small town, but not that small, you don't know me, and I don't know you. You should be asking for ID at the least. All the talk of disenfranchisment and voter fraud....ask for ID, you don't want a media frenzy here asking you to revalidate and recount all your ballots...DO YOU....
    Ask for ID....

according to something i got in the mail on voter rights, you do not have to show ID to vote. it also said if you were conviceted of a felony and were NOT in prison you could vote. i did not know either of these. it had a bunch of them.

im voting tomorrow along with most everybody else.

I knew if about the felons, if you serve your time, I've no problem with that. A couple fo states allow convited felons IN jail to vote...

Thenot having to ask for ID, that's VERY surprising, if it's true, and sad. No wonder all these people are scream disenfranshiment....I would be too if I walked in and they told me I had already voted because they let some schmuck use my ballot without checking their ID.

Of course they can. Buy why bother when all they need is a name and address.
Thieves always go for the least protected thing....if your a car thief purusing a car lot, even if you know how to disarm car alarms and break into and start cars, aren't you going to go for the convertible with the keys in the ignition?h

6 am , one mile . I am ready and willing . We have an ID law thankfully .

Some issues here are hard to think through . We have a minimum wage proposition this year , and I reminded my wife about what if a small business with 7 employees had to let one go so six get raises . Tough to be a grownup . Yet its the toughest decisions that define you .

Want to remind all those who can , to VOTE !!

I voted last week... That's 2 times out of 2 so far that I've voted before election day... It's nice not having lines and stuff... I didn't need ID either, I even changed my address and stuff...

I can see the door to my polling station from my front door. Will go over between 7:30 and 8 am. We also have a minimum wage question on our ballot.
