What? You think the hole is too deep? Lemme see...

I find myself here alot, but I am getting frustrated on one thing. For some reason When I put a URL on here for a picture of my Blazer from my web site a message appears that says this picture is not available or has been moved. But if I put it in black and white text and copy and paste it to the address bar it shows up fine. Here is an example, try it both ways and tell me what i am not doing right:

    <a target="_blank" href=http://home.talkcity.com/RallyRd/chevyracing72/blazer_1.jpg>http://home.talkcity.com/RallyRd/chevyracing72/blazer_1.jpg</a>

    http://home.talkcity.com/RallyRd/chevyracing72/blazer_1.jpg

I hope someone can help me or direct to a place I can put photos of my truck on the web and have access to them from other sites.

PS. the reason my photo shows up on the side bar is because another user on here let me use a link from his site.

at my place of employment, the rule is: if my works done, I can do whatever I want. since I'm network administrator, and have destroyed most of the problems our network had when i got here 2 years ago, I don't genearly have much to do. if a trouble call comes in, then I go fix it, and come back to see what wackey antics are going on here.

as for addicted, I know I am... I mean why else whould I own 3 suburbans, one of them parts only? not only do I own 3, but I'm having a very hard time resisting the urge to buy 1 more, as well as a blazer, and a C 60/K60 flatbed to convert to a MEGA Uuber Suburban? GAH NOW YOU:VE GOT ME THINKING ABOUT IT AGAIN! THANX A PANTLOAD!

There is something about linking from here directly to JPGs on some websites that just doesn't work. If I put a link directly to a JPG file on my web server from here, I get the same problem as you. But, If I create a web page that is nothing but the pic and link to the HTML page, it works. Go figure.

As far as addicted, I keep mine up at all times here at work. I just have another program or two always maxiized in the background that I can pop over to real quick if need be. As long as I get my stuff done and manage my staff accordingly, nobody gives me any trouble. Kinda the same way I manage my staff.

Well Steve, first I need a good pic of the logo, then..... I guess whoever gets here first to request it. If it's you, I'll do it for the price of my membership. (Now that's broke)[IMG]

I've got two systems at work, and I have a CK5 page open on my 2nd system all day. No one has ever said anything to me, but I always finish my projects on time, and adhere to my responsibilities ........

Addicted? Well, CK5 all day at work, and my home page on my house system is, in fact, CK5's main page [IMG]

The link thing is a way your host site is stopping you from hosting pictures to post on other peoples web sites. They want people to go to their site, and not just use it to store pictures on. That's why you can't bring up a .jpg with a link, but you can cut and paste it into the address bar.
