This is a picture of my K5 with an extended front shackle and an add-a-leaf rear lift (approximately 1" of lift) with 35" tires before I trimmed the fenders more than the front fender was already trimmed when I bought it: http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/allandd/vwp?.dir=/Greenblazer-AZ%27s+K5&.src=ph&.dnm=The+Project+begins.jpg&.view=t&.done=http%3a//photos.yahoo.com/bc/allandd/lst%3f%26.dir=/Greenblazer-AZ%2527s%2bK5%26.src=ph%26.view=t
This is a picture after my fender trimming:

It is possible to run 35 " tires with no lift but it requires fender trimming... I think!

My dad had a 2 1/2 inch lift and 36's. It needed fender trimming bad before we could even drive it.
