Who has 4 wheel discs and what modifications have you done to your brake system? Such as different MC, prop. valve, booster, etc. What were the reasons for these modifications? I've heard all kinds of things you're supposed to do when running 4 wheel discs and I want to know what everybody is actually running and how good it works. Thanks for your time.

Running the stock MC, booster, and prop valve on mine .. its a little spongy right now .. i think it needs to be bled some more .. but it will stop you in a hurry if needed.

I am running 4 wheel disc and have not changed anything other than adding the rear disc. My blazer will stop on a dime and give you eleven cents change.

I'm with 79flatbed... just added the rear discs with D44 calipers, and went on my merry way. I did gravity bleed the system like a mad man though... thing I must have ran about 4 quarts of fluid thru it! :O /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

The only complaint I have is that the rears lock just a little before the fronts under heavy braking. Other than that, my brakes will stop my 6100lb truck on a dime... just like everyone else said! (Not to mention the dual-piston Ferd calipers I have on the D60! /forums/images/icons/wink.gif)

I'm running the stock half ton MC but with hydraboost behind it and 4 wheel disks on 1 ton gear. Stops great with no issues even with the 38's.

I converted my front 10-bolt to 8-lug which is b asically 3/4 ton front brakes with 1/2 ton caliper and I put D44 rotors and calipers on the 14bff in the rear...Have the stock MC, prop valve, and everything as it is when I started the swap...The pedal feels a little soft and spongy, but it the rig stops WAY better with far less pedal effort......
