I was putting on my new tires today and when putting on the front passenger side I noticed that the tire would spin. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif It will spin frontwards but not backwards and when spinning the tire, the axel will spin with it, but not the driveshaft. This doesn't sound good. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif Well I guess I'll have to tear it apart over the weekend and find out.

There might not be anything wrong with it. They will ratchet like that.

3 people (one of them is me) have collectively run the 'Con, Tank Trap, Hammers, Moab, Dusy Ershim, Mini-'Con, etc. etc. etc. and none of them have broke.

I was hopping pretty good on some slabs on the 'Con, and the axles helds together, both have a deee-troit.

It isn't broke, that is how a Detroit works, when there is no torque to it, it will ratchet like for cornering, so it is fine not broke. Don't go tearing it down or you will be really pissed when you find out there is nothing wrong.
