When I get the cash, I plan on getting the ProMedia 5.1 system. All the reviews seem to be really good.

I have Klipsch 10" towers front, 8" rear, mid is 4 6", with a Velodyne 200watt 12" woofer, Kenwood VR-5090.....(Krell got fried last lightning storm).....speakers were a little spendy even tho I got 'em half off about 5 yrs ago...they can handle as much power as you can throw at 'em with nary a whimper....the sound is always clean and tight....Paradigm makes some good stuff a little cheaper....if it's just for TV/Surround mostly, I'd be all over Boston Acoustics....wouldn't buy Bose even if I was usin' your money....

I have the system around me right now cranked with GnR.
When I first got them I was bouncing my brothers head when he was in the tub /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif My only pet who likes them is my deaf cat, he likes sitting on the sub when its going /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

the majority of my music listening is on the computer or in the truck, these would be for my home theater system.

a friend of mine has a set-up in his basement home theatre. they sound good, make lots of bass, but i think the horns make the system sound kinda bright, or shrilly loud if you know what i mean /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif. the front towers have the subs firing on the side. he spent a bundle on it. the funny part is he wants martin logan electrostatic speakers now. if you got the dough and they sound good to ya i say go for it.

That's what I like about them,I have 2 powered subs that I think would sound pretty good with that, bright and bassy /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
